Dr. Danijela Piskulic

Dr. Piskulic is a Research Scientist and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary in the Departments of Critical Care Medicine and Psychiatry respectively. She received her PhD in medical science in the Department of Psychiatry from the University of Melbourne, Australia, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in youth mental health at the University of Calgary. Given her research training in psychiatry, Dr. Piskulic’s interests include mental health, cognitive function and psychosocial outcomes and treatment in psychiatric disorders. She is hoping to use this knowledge and implement it in the context of critical care medicine with a focus on psychosocial outcomes and health care delivery to the critically ill.
