Title: Creating a Living Knowledge Translation Agenda to Improve the Delivery of
Evidence-Based Care in Adult Critical Care Medicine
Competition: CIHR Project Grant

Total Funding Award: $393,974

Funding Term: 2019-2022

This proposal represents an essential step within a team-based program of research
whose overall goal is to develop and evaluate a learning healthcare system for critical
care in Alberta that can be scaled to nationally improve the delivery of critical care. The
main output will be an evidence-based, data-driven, and stakeholder-developed
living source of recommendations for adoption and de-adoption in critical care
that will be used to change clinical practice by informing KT initiatives in Alberta, other
provinces and nationally.
